Eggs purchased between November 22 and 27 are being recalled from Costco due to a risk of salmonella, and consumption of these eggs has the potential to cause serious health consequences or even death

The U.S. Food & Drug Administration has categorized Costco’s recall of Kirkland Signature Organic Pasture Raised Eggs (24-count) as a Class 1 recall due to a Salmonella risk.

This designation, made on December 20, suggests that there is a reasonable probability that consuming these eggs could lead to serious health issues or death.

The recall pertains to eggs purchased between November 22-27 because of potential Salmonella contamination. These eggs were distributed to 25 Costco locations in Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee, according to Handsome Brook Farms.

The affected cartons have a “Use By” date of January 5, 2025, and bear the codes P1363 and 327. Customers are advised not to consume these eggs and may return them to Costco for a full refund.
