Former Bengals coach Marvin Lewis talks notable role with Raiders

Marvin Lewis, the former head coach of the Cincinnati Bengals, is making his mark in the NFL once again as he heads into the 2024 season. This time, he will be taking on the role of assistant head coach in Las Vegas, working alongside Antonio Pierce.

This new position comes after Lewis provided informal guidance to Pierce last year when he took over as interim head coach. Lewis expressed his admiration for Pierce, stating that he has been consistently impressed with him since their first meeting and their time together at Arizona State, where Lewis supported him in a similar capacity.

Since departing from the Bengals in 2018, Lewis has been involved with Arizona State, initially as an advisor and then progressing to a co-coordinator role before transitioning back to a special advisor.
