Sabrina Carpenter fans were in for a treat when SNL star Marcello Hernandez made a surprise appearance as his viral character Domingo at the singer’s Los Angeles concert on Sunday.
Marcello, 27, became an online sensation last month after he appeared as a hunky bachelor named Domingo in a hilarious Saturday Night Live skit alongside Ariana Grande, which included their own rendition of Sabrina’s hit song Espresso.
Over the weekend, the actor and comedian attended Sabrina’s sold-out show at the Kia Forum in LA, and he showed up dressed as the beloved character.
He shared a spicy moment with the Please Please Please songstress, 25, before he delighting fans by bursting out into song and performing his new version of the fan-favorite track.
During every concert, Sabrina picks someone in the audience to ‘arrest’ for being ‘too hot,’ handing them a pair of handcuffs – and during Sunday’s show, she chose Domingo.
‘Who are you?’ Sabrina asked the SNL star, who was dressed up in Domingo’s signature blue suit and a fake goatee.
‘My name is Domingo,’ he replied in his raspy voice, as the crowd erupted in cheers.
‘I’m so flustered, ay dios mio,’ Sabrina told him. ‘Is there anything you want to say before I arrest you, Domingo?’

He then started performing his now-famous verse of Sabrina’s song from the SNL skit, changing the lyrics slightly to fit with the moment.
‘Came all this way, had to explain, direct from Domingo,’ he sang. ‘Sabrina’s my friend, like my sis, but I would hookup though.’
Immediately, videos of the moment went viral on social media.
‘The Domingo cinematic universe is crazy,’ one user commented on TikTok.
‘Marcello is so iconic for this lmao,’ someone else said.
‘Domingo needs an SNL spin-off movie at this point,’ added another person.
‘The Sabrina x Domingo crossover we all were waiting for,’ a fourth comment read.
The now-viral SNL skit showed Ariana, along with SNL stars Heidi Gardner, Ego Nwodim, and Sarah Sherman, portraying bridesmaids at their friend’s wedding.
