President-elect Trump announced Sunday night that Alina Haba will join his White House team as an adviser to the president.
Trump posted on the Truth Social: “Alina has been a tireless advocate for justice, a staunch defender of the rule of law, and a valuable adviser to my campaign and transition team. She was unmatched in her loyalty and determination – through countless ‘trials,’ battles and countless court days.”
The president-elect noted that there are not many people like Haba who understand the weaponization of “unjust” systems.
Trump continued: “As a first-generation Middle Eastern American, she has become a role model for women in law and politics, and was recently named Chaldean Woman of the Year. Congratulations to Alina, her husband Greg and her three beautiful children Chloe, Luke and Parker.”

“It has been the honor of my life to serve the 45th and 47th presidents of the United States,” Haba responded on X.
In addition to Haba’s appointment, Trump also announced his nomination of Christopher Landau as deputy secretary of state, who will work alongside secretary of State nominee Marco Rubio.
Trump said the two would work together to advance the country’s security and prosperity through an “America First” foreign policy.

“Chris served as my ambassador to Mexico and worked tirelessly with our team to bring illegal immigration down to historic lows,” Trump said. “He is also one of our nation’s finest lawyers, having clerked for U.S. Supreme Court Justices Antonin Scalia and Clarence Thomas.”
In a separate blog post, Trump wrote that Michael Needham, who worked with Rubio for years, will serve as a State Department adviser.

Trump added in a separate post that Michael Anton will serve as director of policy planning at the State Department.
“Michael served me faithfully and effectively on the National Security Council during my first term. He has a rich background in government, the private sector and academia, “he wrote. “He’s spent the last eight years explaining what an America First foreign policy really means.”
Finally, in a series of posts to the Truth Society, Trump congratulated Chairman Brian Shimin on his re-election as chairman of the Wisconsin Republican Party.
